Privacy Policy

Submit a File form. If you nominate an archetype, we receive what you type: the archetype name, the description, the optional signature phrase, and, only if you choose to provide them, your name and email address. Both are optional, and you can ask us to keep your name off the file even if it is published.

Data that stays on your device. Reactions on File entries and your quiz answers are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not transmitted to our servers, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Technical basics. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure processes standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to serve pages and protect the site. We do not use them to identify you.

Submissions go into a private moderation queue where a human reviews them before anything is published. We use your email, if you gave one, only to follow up about your submission. We do not send marketing email, and we never display your contact details publicly.

If your submission is approved, we may publish the archetype (sometimes edited for clarity or tone) in the Archive. If you asked to stay anonymous, no name is attached. The original text of your submission is kept on record so nothing is silently altered.

Tita Files plans to show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are live, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads depending on your settings. Ad units on Tita Files are always visually marked, and sponsored placements are kept separate from our own recommendations.

Some links in the Recommendations section are affiliate links (for example to Shopee or Lazada). If you buy something through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The shops you land on have their own privacy policies; what you do there is between you and them (and possibly the Marites).

We do not sell your personal information. Submission data is stored with our infrastructure providers (site hosting and a managed Postgres database) under their standard safeguards, and is accessible only to the people who moderate the archive.

We keep submissions for as long as the archive needs a record of what was submitted and what was published. You can ask us to delete your personal details at any time.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the Philippines, these rights are backed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). If you are elsewhere, we honor equivalent requests regardless of where you live. Tita Files is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes get a clearer heads-up on the site. Continued use of Tita Files after changes means you accept the updated policy.
